How Ozone Works
Ozone is a highly oxidizing gas that exterminates bacteria, fungi, insects and viruses. Ozone is created by using a high voltage generator to convert oxygen in the air into ozone.
Ozone breaks down to oxygen over time, and there are no toxic fumes after ozone treatment. Ozone can cause minor irritation to the eyes and mucous membranes in humans and domestic animals. Therefore, the room that has been treated must be thoroughly ventilated before it is used again. Ozone is approved in accordance with the EU Biocides Regulation 528/2012 (EU BPR).
OzoneBreeze is placed in the room to be treated, e.g. the living room, office, bathroom, car, clinic or basement. OzoneBreeze is then connected via the power cord to a standard 230 V socket. During treatment with Ozone, windows and doors must be closed. The generator is switched on and the room should be cleared of people as soon as the generator is running. Ozone treatment stops when OzoneBreeze is switched off.
